That's nothing for a Toyota. I've driven plenty with 200k plus.

I'm guessing you either have a small leak or it got hot enough over the summer to puke out some coolant. Get the pressure test.

You should burp the system. When it's cold with the heat on high, you open the cap, put the cap loose back in,start it up, take the cap off. You let it runand add coolent as needed. Air in the system will bubble out over 15 minutes or so.

I kind of did that, but not for 15 minutes. Maybe five.
