I had the HDMI cord plugged in to #1 and the input wasn’t showing on the screen. She changed it to HDMI 2 and it worked.

Your remote probably only needs the battery contacts cleaned and new batteries. Worth spending a couple of minutes on.

You can use whatever you use to clean your kitchen or bathroom. Just spray some on the contacts, wipe off, rinse the case and let it thoroughly dry before putting in new batteries.

depends on how bad it is. Maybe just a little sandpaper on the contacts.
