Every time I visit a pawn shop I go through their box of misc. sockets and buy every 10mm I can. Most times there are none.

Is that the most commonly used socket?

At @rod's advanced age, he may be misplacing them and forgetting where he left them.

When working on certain things it is. I've got a little 50cc Yamaha scooter that I swear 95% of it is held together with 10mm hardware.

I used to love to visit my grandparents in the summer. They always had the best food. Lol. And I liked helping in the garden.

I'm stuck with the 3 grandkids (10 year old twin girls and a 12 year old boy)-my daughter and my son-in-law for a month---one year it was for 5 weeks. Believe me by the time the 3rd week rolls around I'm ready to pull my hair out and during the 4th week I tell my wife to hide my gun cabinet key from me.

That’s great though that you two are willing to take them for a month. I’m sure your daughter really appreciates it. Everyone needs a break from their kids now and then. Plus it gives the two of you and the grandkids some memories. Teach them how to change the oil. Lol.

No. He would have made a great Dad. Kids all loved him because he liked to rough house with them--especially when swimming. He was "the human diving board"
