not what i heard
Already a proven fact that some areas like the U.S. northeast and Germany neither have the wind or enough sunshine to make wind and solar work. If you take away fossil fuels how do they heat their homes in winter? How do you have enough power to keep all the EV's charged? If you insist on everything electrified with no fossil fuel burned to provide power you'll have to have nuclear power. There are already hundreds of nuclear power plants around the world. We just need more of them.

Really?

You need to stop listening to the extreme talking heads and autistic teens that scare you.

Solar has a place in America's power arsenal. Most roofs in Florida, Texas and Arizona should have panels on them. Then wind in the right places. Then get the liturds to back off on nuclear and build plenty of those. Then we leave coal for peak demand times (heat waves and cold snaps) plus exporting. The main goal should be to ensure America has enough power for business and living. Do it smartly and cleanly so that we're not dependent on any other countries.

Screw Saudi Arabia and their oil. We have plenty of power options here at home.

As I understand it , no new powerplants except green ones are being built.
Now Biden wants everyone to have an electric car and a/c in their houses.
That would be putting a great deal of strain on current available power grids.
Something that solar and wind could not adjust to if the sun don't shine and the wind doesn't blow.

Sorry, but I don’t care anymore.

It’s suicide

Here's a downside to solar that isn't openly talked about.

According to CBS, more than 90 percent of panels are dumped in landfills when they are damaged, defective or reach the end of their usefulness. As of 2030, CBS said the panels will take up about 3,000 football fields worth of landfill space.

“Polysilicon … can’t ever be recycled back into polysilicon. If it’s fake cycled into sand it would be absolutely toxic,” Randall said.

Randall wrote in his Substack article that at best, panels have $6 worth of silver if it could be refined. However, he said, that’s not possible.

“You can’t recover the silver. It doesn’t work that way,” he said.
