employers profiting off workers

worker should not be profited off of
That’s impossible how could A company stay in business if they weren’t profiting from workers. Each day I deliver and pick up thousands and thousands of dollars worth of packages. The only way the company could not profit off of what I do is to give me those thousands and thousands of dollars. But then They could not buy Vehicles, buildings, and infrastructure. They would not exist. You live in a fantasy world which is why Socialism never works in reality.

no socialism means workers arent employees for employers to profit off of.
Why not? With socialism, the workers are slaves to the people who don’t want to work. Democrats enslaved african Americans since the late 1700’s and they are enslaving the whole population as we speak with all their government “help” programs.

Somebody has to profit more then the other. Otherwise there is no point to the whole game. Employees profit from their labor. I’m very confused by that statement. You act like employees don’t get paid.

Socialism has nothing to do with companies in the private sector. Socialism comes from government.
no socialism traditionally has always been about ending employers profiting off employees and worker self determination.

power corrupts. so when you give a capitalist too much power they abuse it.

the solution to power is democracy; 1 person 1 vote. Or in this case 1 worker 1 vote.

richard wolff is america's biggest proponent of worker run jobs. even bernie sanders in 2016 initially had this as part of his campaign proposals.

think about it. the companies depend on workers to make the business work, theres no getting around that. but the workers dont depend on the companies for jobs; they could make their own companies.

workers produce value which the employer takes. this is called exploitation. we want workers to collectively determine what to do with the value they produce.

Your scenario forgets thing, if all workers start a business, there would be no one to hire. And no business. never ending cycle of depression.

employees get paid less than the value they produce.

also its bad for democracy to take orders 40 hours a week. democracy is not something where you just vote every 2 years and are a spectator the rest of the time. its supposed to be all the time.

Sorry doesn’t work that way, Consumers determine value.

worker coops are more likely to succeed than capitalist biz, im not sure why, maybe bc since the workers are owners theyre more invested in the business succeeding rather than just being paid by the hour and doing bare min to keep your job.
