What if the “masters” tell you to do something that is immoral?

Alright let’s not get crazy here, I see what you’re both saying, but Walmart could definitely pay and treat their workers better
Then don't do it. Wal-Mart has half a million employees. There's a limited amount they can do. Whatever they do would never be enough for Ricky. And the scenario I pointed out that if Wal-Mart did so Ricky would still be unhappy? That's exactly the kind of stuff he believes employers could and would do if we were socialist. He's been arguing this for years.

Then don’t do what?

Walmart makes over $100 billion a year in profit. There’s plenty more they could do
Then don’t do what?
You asked if a master asked you to do something immoral what do you do? As a Christian you are obligated to obey your master unless he wants you to sin. Then don't do it.

Wal-Mart makes a gross profit of well over $100 billion a year. But it's net profit is about $16-$17 billion a year. From which they pay things like dividends, invest in new stores and equipment, etc. It's not all gravy.

Following Christ comes first. Reminds me of the story of Meshach, Shadrach, and Abednego who worked for King Nebuchadnezzar. The king ordered for everyone to bow down to the idol he had built but they refused. They worked for him but refused to bow down

we are jumping out of windows because we have little to none.

i think in a video i posted 95% of money corporations had went into stock buybacks.
I promise I’m not jumping out of any window. I’ll drink my coffee. I’m watch the billionaires do it. The beauty of not having much is you don’t have far to fall.

poor walton heirs

upper 10% of hte population owns 90% of the stock market.
You're just envious. Their father started a company with an idea on how to be more efficient to save consumers money. It worked extremely well so his company grew like wildfire and the value of his stock greatly increased. He died and left his kids his stock. They benefited from just being his kids. They didn't commit evil acts to get that wealthy. Lucky them.

Of course they did look how they treat their workers, govt corruption, and the products they import. Their wealth was 100% dependent on the employees they hired aka associates lol that they treated so badly

You are lost

They don't run Walmart. The family collectively owns about 45% of Wal-Mart stock. They used to own a little over 50% but have sold some. You characterize them as evil but the only thing they're guilty.of is being born into that family.

The waltons who were involved are guilty. They control 45% of the stock. Thats alot

Wat are the most evil things in our world? Surely govts and corporations. As a christian why do you give a pass to this evil? Your kind of christianity is exactly wat chris hedges was complaining about in his book death of the liberal class.

What evil do I support? Their father started a company. Incorporated which gave him many shares of stock in his own corporation. The company was very successful. When he died his stock was put into a family trust for his heirs. They don't run the company. They are just beneficiaries of their father's success. I bet if you look each of them up you'd probably find they give a lot of money to charities. Why are you punishing them?

Why are you so worried what "we"Christians decide to do or not do? You need to be pushing your political action groups for more action.
