You want a toe? I can get you a toe.
With all due respect, you answered your own question.... right ?

The devil is in the details.... and the majority voted for it.

Trying to kill the messenger (post mortem) is an exercise in futility.

How has that changed ? If you are eligible, FMLA applies.

Back at you. Come to work !

Check you're "self entitled" privilege.... at the door.

Vote your (informed) conscience.

But, please don't whine.... if you are in the minority.

-Bug-
The south voted the last contract in. That's it.

And if 710/705 were under the national that likely would of been enough no votes to overturn the yes vote.

I mean is the IBT not embarrassed that only small portion of their membership wanted this contract? If the IBT worked under an electoral college type vote it would of been a no for sure. Virtually Every region but the south voted no.

Why does my involvement have anything to do with the comments made by me and others.

You asked what concessions, some were posted. You guys acted like you didn't see them, and than made excuses for them.

I'm done in this thread. The USA toook a stand, I voted to get this crap, in the bed with ups ibt out, but the canooks who shouldn't even have any eggs in the same basket (they have central healthcare for the love of God) kept you guys in.
Alright, take your ball and go home. I was hoping for dialogue so as to better understand your views. Take care.

What does the "I" in IBT stand for ?

Reading is fundamental. So is basic English.
I said I'll stop posting but I can't this is just ridiculous.

What does Canada who has a completely different wage system, a total different health care system, and just a total different way of life have anything to do with our contract issues, specifically health care? They should vote for our president of the USA too!!! Maybe the union lover Hilary might have actually won

As for spelling, it's well know when a person has nothing to argue back he picks on the person making valid points' spelling. It's obvious autocorrect. you guys still can't agree we have given many many concessions and 1 gain (9.5) so you instead attempt to make me look stupid.

People see through the ibt bs

What does Canada have in common you say? They are affiliated, and part of the best union in the world. They are Teamsters.

How can we keep our pensions funded when we continuously allow 2-3 supervisors work every preload and local sort everyday? This issue and harassment need to be taken care of in negotiations!!

9.5 language was actually a huge concession last contract too. Now you have to jump thru a bunch of hoops and instead of any 3 in 5 days you can only file if it's 3 days in one week. I could go over 4 days in a row and not have 9.5 protection.

Another poster pointed out just some concessions. Instead of agreeing you give excuses. It's sick!!!!

What's next? We have to pay for healthcare... than you come on here and say "well most people have to pay for health care in the USA". Cut the crap!!

MAN UP!!! Say we lost quite a bit over these past contracts but we're gonna aim for more this one.... instead excuses and squirming around to avoid agreeing makes me show all you higher up union guys don't care and will screw us with a crap contract to vote on again.
You think you've been getting screwed on past contracts? You ain't seen nothing! Just wait till this next one comes in. Grab a tube of KY. Then grab another tube for 6 months after contract is ratified, and you find out you lost more than you thought!!

Isn't blaming an election on a group of brothers in Canada an excuse?

I'm blaming the idiotic system that has 2 countries voting in a union election that have 2 different legal ways to handle health care. Health care is a huge issue in the USA and unions, yet canada can vote in our election and vote based on not having a care in the world when it comes to health care.

Do they use or even have teamcare? They lost nothing and changed nothing on the health care front... in the USA, we had a massive difference from the last teamster contract.

The nlrb does not exist in Canada. There should be 2 different elections for the 2 different countries. Common sense

Logically if you think us and Canada voting for the same leaders makes any sense your an idiot.

We will all need ky come next August.

Bug... do you think a country with socialized healthcare should be able to vote in a union election with another country that has non socialized health care when one of the main issues with the past contract everybody had is with the health care change??

Dead serious question

Please answer the question and don't dance around and spin.
