the bully will fail again!Isn't blaming an election on a group of brothers in Canada an excuse?
We will all need ky come next August.
Here we go again with voter turn outBarely 1/3 of Local 89.... even voted on their own Rider.
So much, for the leadership of FZ.
See here is some dialogue I can use. You and I had superior language on 9.5 prior to the last contract. We went by the central region language. It was switched to the master language for 9.5. The Monday through Friday language is flawed compared to what we had. This is something I agree with you on. So how many have submitted proposals on this?9.5 language was actually a huge concession last contract too. Now you have to jump thru a bunch of hoops and instead of any 3 in 5 days you can only file if it's 3 days in one week. I could go over 4 days in a row and not have 9.5 protection.
Without a little insight into the what you are, or where you are coming from it's a big deal. Are you one of the guys that got a job here at 18? How many other jobs have you worked? What are your life experiences? Without this information it's kinda hard to open dialogue with you. Judging from what life type you divulge, I think you are just an upset part time sorter/keyboard cowboy.Like I said.... what does my personal life have to do with the excuses you guys are posting right in front of my eyes?
Talking about journey men blah blah blah....who cares? 4 year top our is a huge concession. NO EXCUSES!!!!!
Maybe he wouldn't have had the chance to blame them if TU would have been bothered to campaign there. My guess is they weren't that committed.Isn't blaming an election on a group of brothers in Canada an excuse?
I think you missed the point about the a Teamsters being the strongest union in North America. One of the many things that's makes us strong amongst other things is our reach. We have pull in two countries, pretty impressive, as well as politically. Here we go again with voter turn out
You also danced around my question about Canada, socialized healthcare, and wtf they are doing voting in our election.... where a main focus is helathcare
Actually if you think the title is United States of Teamsters, then you are an idiot. But I'll play your game some more. You're creating rules that suit your interests. What happens if FZ won the US and Hoffa wins Canada? 2 Presidents? And we are on a union decline, are you suggesting we not branch out to other countries? I mean grow up kid. Your guy lost. Wipe your GD tears an move the friend on. I can't believe we have so many cry babies in the place.I'm blaming the idiotic system that has 2 countries voting in a union election that have 2 different legal ways to handle health care. Health care is a huge issue in the USA and unions, yet canada can vote in our election and vote based on not having a care in the world when it comes to health care.
Do they use or even have teamcare? They lost nothing and changed nothing on the health care front... in the USA, we had a massive difference from the last teamster contract.
The nlrb does not exist in Canada. There should be 2 different elections for the 2 different countries. Common sense
Logically if you think us and Canada voting for the same leaders makes any sense your an idiot.
Did they vote on our contract? You do know there are teamsters in this union other than UPS? I don't have teamcare and I voted on the contract. I also voted in the election. Do you understand what your even saying?Do they use or even have teamcare? They lost nothing and changed nothing on the health care front... in the USA, we had a massive difference from the last teamster contract.
Yes. Should be 2 presidents for 2 different countries as both countries have totally different health care and pension systems. It's common sense. If you honestly think otherwise I will go ahead and call you dumb. Anybody with common sense can understand why there should be a presidents for each country. Most (even ups) big companies have diff managment/presidentsActually if you think the title is United States of Teamsters, then you are an idiot. I can't believe we have so many cry babies in the place.
What does sups working have to do with pension funds? How can we keep our pensions funded when we continuously allow 2-3 supervisors work every preload and local sort everyday? This issue and harassment need to be taken care of in negotiations!!
So Canadian ups employees don't vote on ups contracts?????Did they vote on our contract? You do know there are teamsters in this union other than UPS? I don't have teamcare and I voted on the contract. I also voted in the election. Do you understand what your even saying?
But, there is only one CEO now is there? Most (even ups) big companies have diff managment/presidents
for diff countries as diff countries have diff issues and challlanges.
And bug still didn't answer my question
Barely 1/3 of Local 89.... even voted on their own Rider.

CEO are not voted on by the average grunt. They are appointed. Bad analogyBut, there is only one CEO now is there?
Not the same one we do.So Canadian ups employees don't vote on ups contracts?????
You're reaching dude. You think your dues are high now? Now you're calling for 2 presidents, cuz your guy didn't win. Are you a UPSer?CEO are not voted on by the average grunt. They are appointed. Bad analogy
I'll compare it to a presidental election. Canada should vote in our presidental election.... they don't because they are a different country with different issues and different rules.
He knows, but only stick to talking points that fit his ideology.I think you missed the point about the a Teamsters being the strongest union in North America. One of the many things that's makes us strong amongst other things is our reach. We have pull in two countries, pretty impressive, as well as politically.
Why not? International brother hood!!!! Brother!!! We should be under the same ups contract right.... o wait, they have diff health care and pension systems.... thus proving my point. Not the same one we do.
