Why the heck would anyone but management and stock holders want an hourly employee to "top out" in wages?
Only an off the street hire would post that stupidity.
Should've topped you out at $25 so we wouldn't have to put up with your "intelligence" on here because you said you'd quit if that happened..
Ridiculous.
I think all off the street hires should top out on pay.. all of us hub rats get the higher "hazard pay" non top out package..

$20/hr plus benefits is more than adequate for a job which requires that you have a pulse and the ability to breath.
Can you demean people more than this statement?
Someone has to want to get up at 3 am to come work a thankless, back breaking, and unappreciated job for peanuts.
I'll make more in one hour of overtime wages and two paid breaks than they'll make all their guaranteed shift at your 'topped out" wage scenario.
Yet the company is netting 9 billion $s and clueless management's bonuses would exceed a large percentage of the topped out pt time workers yearly guarantee.

Do you ever post anything that's not arrogant and positive towards people who haven't had the opportunity to be hired directly into a full time driving job at UPS like yourself? Or is it your aim in life to be an arrogant donkey?
If so, the obvious has become visible.

BUG is such a fountain of knowledge.

Thanks for the compliment.

You aren't eligible for job insurance.

Oh I been suspended a few times too many brother ?

@anHOURover

I thought all the charges were BS ?

So, the discharges were reduced.... and you accepted a suspension.

Got it.

Then your boys are running the pension funds into the ground!!

From someone, than can barely keep himself in a job.

How is it with all of the variables like deregulation and recessions, were some Teamster pensions able to survive or even thrive, while others are destined for insolvency?

You have to look at the "makeup" of the contributors.

The Central Region, has always been in a unique position.

What's up with the racial jabs? "Caucasian" is not a relevant issue here.
We've just seen noncaucasian "old guard" folk take a hit for their actions lately so educate yourself.

@anHOURover is out of touch, with the real world.

$50 a month blue cross and blue shield was promised to me !

It was promised, and would never change.

Right.

Show me that in writing.

How much is enough for you guys? We will be approaching $40/hr by 2023 for a very simple job.

If it was such a "simple job".... And, anyone could do it;

Why is the company struggling with the issue ?

OK Joe, the indoctrination worked, looks like we got this one hook, line and sinker.
Geeez...lower wages wouldn't stop automation.
it's not like you guys are making minimum wages, 30+ an hour is good money for the work you do

the problem isn't the money it's the harassment, and y'all know it

so why try to solve harassment with pay raises? that makes zero sense

The more you make. The more you're willing to put up with. Some mistake comp as a union issue, which it is not. Harassment should be treated as comp is. At your state level. Comp issues can be easily dealt with by contacting your ombudsman.
