People want things handed to them for nothing. You and I both know there are a lot of people saying they can't afford health insurance who could if they weren't financially irresponsible.

Just different perspectives. Neither is always wrong. I couldn't imagine many Canadians would listen to a review of the main points of each system and prefer the US over the European.

i dunno i just hear things all the time like EU food is better, their healthcare is better, they have better flying rights, better worker rights, cheap or free tuition, less jails, which leads me to that conclusion.

What's wrong with believing your way of life is better. Lack of assimilation is problematic. Let's see we are in the era of diversity for everything except the right way.

What is the right way you ask? It's the culture and rules that benefit your society the most. That's why ideas can be a threat to the norm. The US framework is a constitutional republic. It's an idea that every generation has to relearn and appreciate.

I'm learning myself and these debates are helpful. Good intentions are welcome and are not necessarily a bad thing.

He said the issue was not a funding issue but a system issue when he said the CDC was well prepared for testing as had been conducted in the past and that testing at the level we were trying to under take with this pandemic was a system issue that required help from the private sector.
