I’m the only person at my lunch break restaurant today. God I love this virus, no crying babies, no old folk taking 10 minutes to order and no group of kids blocking off the fountain drinks.

Also restaurant steeply reduced prices. Saved an extra $4 bucks today and got a bigger pizza than usual.

What Bill fails to highlight here is all the good epidemics do for those that survive. Rent goes down, wages go up. Higher standards of living. This flu seems to have a controlled burning type effect built in as well. It’s taking out the boomers, imagine if you will, a thread that doesn’t devolve into god hates fags.

We could have this and more if we just let this one virus run it’s course.

It's a pretty good deal for us. If you're one of those people who pays a monthly membership fee and rarely shows up then yeah, it's a ripoff, but you're doing it to yourself.
