you are going to be overwhelmed in 6 days or so. ill be sure to remind you of that point when the time comes.The point of US actions up to now has been to slow the spread of the virus so our medical system has time to prepare and not be overwhelmed by a spike in concurrent hospitalizations as Italy and much of Europe have been when things do get worse.
Yes, there are still dumbs walking and running on crowded boardwalks in San Francisco. But one of the trade offs of our government not being a communist dictatorship is that citizens maintain a certain degree of personal freedom in even the worst of circumstances.
Sorry, comrade. Things wouldn’t be going better in the US if you were running the show as you almost certainly would have opted for a more European approach to the crisis.
i think you will be doing a lock down as well. america has authoritarian tendencies, you are not free. you have a 2 party dictatorship. you have the worst mass surveilance of the west. you have laws like NDAA. death penalty, a broken justice system, etc.
america doesnt have a welfare state. so alot of the workers at chain stores and restaraunts are sick, and cant afford to not work because there is no welfare state.

Hammers and Other Blunt Objects, 16 or 304 total since 2/29
Now accidents kill 465 daily, or 8835 in total since 2/29. Any UPS driver should be way more concerned with that number and the crossing the street number (16 each and every day).

incorrect, because young people dont die, this virus is deadly for senior citzens, so it depends on a lot of what ifs, h1n1 did not play to these rules
