All that is required for the virus to go away is for people to STOP being tested.
All the big numbers being thrown around are for possible victims, not actual victims.
Given that the normal weekly death rate ( adjusted for seasonal variations ) is between 7400 to 8500, the small number of Covid deaths could easily be added without much fanfare.
