I wonder how their deaths stack up? Oh yeah, they only focus on the made up numbers they think support their unconstitutional and completely unsupportable policies. A higher case rate and lower death rate is a good sign. It suggests you did a better job of protecting the most vulnerable, while minimizing the destruction of people's lives.

"A massive surge in new cases nationally originated in the Dakotas, a surge apparently linked to the Sturgis event. South Dakota’s effort to let people live their lives as normal was successful, with the caveat that living a normal life in a pandemic vastly increases the risk of infection.

By Nov. 1, 1 out of every 19 residents of the state had been infected with the virus. Out of every 2,100 South Dakotans alive at the beginning of the year, one had died of the virus. Hospitalizations began to surge, reaching a peak near the end of the month. Things got so bad that patients were flown out of state to facilities that had more capacity to handle coronavirus cases.

South Dakota ended 2020 with the second-highest number of population-adjusted coronavirus infections in the country. One out of every 9 residents had contracted the virus, and 1 out of every 600 had died of it. The only states where the death toll per capita were higher were Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Jersey, North Dakota and Rhode Island. Four of those states were slammed at the beginning of the pandemic, when New York City was the epicenter of infections and deaths. The two Dakotas surged to the top of the list months later — after preventive measures were better understood."

Los Angeles Area Pediatricians Call For Schools to 'Immediately Reopen,' Despite State COVID Guidelines

"Schools should open immediately," Dr. Alice Kuo, Executive Board member of the Southern California Chapter and Professor of Pediatrics at UCLA said in the statement reviewed by Newsweek.

"We are causing undue harm to millions of children by keeping schools closed for this long," she added.

The group represents about 1,500 primary care pediatricians, pediatric medical sub-specialists and pediatric surgical specialists in the Los Angeles County area.

"Schools are safe when adherence to mitigation practices are in place, such as mask wearing, hand hygiene, social distancing, and limitation of potentially higher-risk extracurricular activities," the statement said. "A year into the pandemic, and after great effort and expense, schools know how to implement mitigation."

The call for action falls in line with last week's report from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, which said that schools across the country should resume in-person as soon as possible.

In the report, published in the Journal of the American Medical Association, the CDC said its researchers found "little evidence that schools have contributed meaningfully to increased community transmission" when proper safety precautions were followed.

To further support their claim, the Los Angeles pediatricians cited a December survey of more than 500 teachers who reported "low levels of student attendance and engagement" due to school closures, and said children are suffering emotional and mental impacts "related to social isolation, anxiety, lack of structure."

Is this correct?
The current shot gives 95% immunity for 3 months.
Take the first shot and in 2 weeks about the time the antibodies have built up you get a booster.
So to stay in the 95% immunity range as it is, wouldn’t it require 8 shots a year?

Teachers Don’t Need Vaccines to Open Schools, CDC Chief Says

Vaccinating teachers isn’t a prerequisite for the safe reopening of U.S. schools, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Director Rochelle Walensky said Wednesday.

“There is increasing data to suggest that schools can safely reopen,” she said, adding that “safe reopening does not suggest that teachers need to be vaccinated in order to reopen safely.”

Politicians and big money unions should stop hating children...smh

That is one of the reasons I'm waiting for the Johnson & Johnson cure.
