What restrictions?
I live in Jawja so these restrictions are alien to me!

Have to wear a mask at work, can’t travel without testing/quarantine, can’t gather indoors with others not in one’s household, can’t send our kids to school, can’t take the kids swimming, amusement parks, etc., can’t go to a concert/festival/sporting event, can’t open business at full capacity.

I'm sorry your dad didn't see things the way you do. You should get together with a bunch of other like-minded folks and take a vote to send your dad to a re-education camp so he can be deprogrammed and learn the right way to view reality.
