heres a good video. they talk more about the american history of it here and how it got repressed. it was the slogan of hte republican party and lincoln.

It's been years since I read his 'definition' of Socialism.
I agree with most of his assessments of Socialism in America.
However, I disagree with his opinion on what is best for the citizens of the USA.
His recommendations on 'means of production' is extremely critical of the current state of the Democrat party and the American Liberal philosophy as espoused by people like AOC or Pocahontas.
At UPS, the company was owned by it's management until the turn of the 21st century, so a step towards self-owned production.
I think UPS is less 'employee-centered' since that change has occurred.
As for your coops ... they are not scalable to compete with the economic advantages offered by Large and Global Corporations.
Look at you and me ... we could buy American/Capitalistic goods but instead we buy Communist goods which produces goods with incredibility more slave-like resources.
As for Noam's Socialism, it is a good topic for beer-induced discussions but not worth my time to discuss.
