Coronavirus

Why not India? I explained this already. Why would they not have seen the explosions in cases around the same time as similar geographical locations last year, but suddenly start exploding now? There's no explanation for it.

There are several people who command control over large amounts of resources who think they know what's best for everyone else. I would love to have reliable information about who is pulling what strings. But I don't believe the "liberal leadership" in this country wield any real power, in the grand scheme.

As for what benefit it is to push a lie about the state of covid in India, I don't have to know that to know they are lying. If you look at what they are trying to accomplish by pushing that narrative, then it's reasonable to assume that the goal is to get public approval for sending India raw materials for the vaccine, and the IP for how to make them.

The WSJ opinion piece @Box Ox posted suggested this is being done to hurt the pharmaceutical industry. I highly doubt that. I think it benefits someone to have vaccines manufactured in a cheaper labor market, with fewer quality controls. I don't know who owns what, or what relationships exist, so I can't speak to who is benefitting, but it seems to me that pharma wouldn't just let Biden force them to hand over their IP to people who are in competition with them.
maybe cuz the 3rd world like india has limited access to vaccines and they are ruled by dickheads comparable to trump

India already has one of the largest producers of vaccines in the world. There was also border tension between India and China leading to some fighting. That and the Himalayas separating the countries might explain the delayed development of the virus there. They weren't exchanging planes full of tourists like Italy was for example. As I recall Southeast Asia didn't have it too bad nor did central Asia. So India is surrounded by water, Himalayas to the north, and nearby countries not hit that hard. Took it awhile. Or we can believe in some grand conspiracy and all those images are bogus.

except i dont base my info on the govt or these drug companies.

When your info is the same as the government and drug companies, does it matter where you get it? At what point do you realize that your sources exist solely to prop up the same people they tell you are slimey?

You've never heard of media outlets using misleading images from places and situations that are other than what they are reporting on? It's almost a best practice by now. Do you believe that "refugees" from Honduras were really hiking their way to the US in a massive caravan? If you do, I have a bridge for sale...

Clearly India had Covid last year, in high enough numbers to register, so saying it wasn't being imported is a non sequitur.

id prefer if they told the truth, but quite often they cant be trusted. donald trump was a prime example!

I agree. Trump should have told the truth that rushing vaccine development and testing is not a good idea. Also should have told the truth that the CDC has no authority to put a moratorium on evictions. What a slime ball. He should have also not trusted republicans with direct financial ties to China.

And numerous countries have had repeated waves, sometimes with new variants. Could be any number of reasons why India is exploding now. You never did say what would be to India's advantage to fake such a massive new wave. Is there something about India that bothers you?

I never aaid India would have an advantage, and certainly am not bothered by India at all. I hope they will ally with us against China if such an alliance should become necessary. I explained why some people might find it advantageous to have covid vaccines produced in India, and inflated numbers help sell that in the court of public opinion. Is that why they are inflating numbers now? Who knows? Another possibility: Canada and India hoth have problems getting vaccines, conveniently their "cases" are "soaring". It could well be that the numbers are inflated in those countries to help sell the effectivenss of the vaccine, so that once, finally, those countries get the vaccine at a high rnough rate, then the cases will finally drop. I know, I know, that's the expected outcome. But when you consider that covid has been fraudulently hyped the whole time, it's not that big a leap to believe that the people keeping track can decide to inflate numbers wherever/whenever they want for whatever ends they want. The governor in my state has been caught out doing it.

I do keep hearing about variants, but no trustworthy source has ever isolated the original virus (another reason pcr can't be trusted). I havrn't seen any evidence that anyone has isolated a variant or compared it with the original, so I don't factor in things like variants just because Fauci says so.

Scientists in the U.K. and South Africa have found variants. I'm traveling to Guatemala in August. They, and quite a few other countries, won't let you in if you had visited those two countries in the last 14 days. I'm sorry man but you base a lot of what you believe on your own assumptions, assuming the worst. This virus isn't as dangerous as some would have us believe, but for some people it's very dangerous. And needs to be taken seriously. But the onus should be on people at risk to isolate themselves rather than to completely shut down everything and ruin economies.
