Cover drivers 8 hour days

Is this just for a specific day that you need to get home early? Just wondering since most cover drivers are in progression and don't make much. Don't you want the overtime?

I'm at 20.75 / hr and on track to make 60k this year.. im doing fine

I'm currently viewing some of your posts in the way back machine around year 2000. Can't wait to prove u wrong. yes I'm bored. Lol. It's raining out and wife and kids are watching a Disney movie. Lol

Why would he need to put in for a 8 hour day when his route barely cracks 9 hours anyway.

If you are a part time cover driver no you can not get an 8hr day. My center had a big discussion on this and per the President of my local he said no. No 8hr request no 9.5 nothing we are here to work and cover full time drivers thats is what get. But we can pick days to work back at our part time positions if less senior drivers are not working but you must give them notice before the scheduled is made. Well this is what we get out of so cal.
