How much study time do most drivers need to remember depth of knowledge questions?

I'm just curious, Austin, as a pre-loader and a self-proclaimed shoe guru, WTF do you know about the drivers' DOK?

I'm the only rookie in our everyday safety meetings that knows his DoK. I can understand the older guys but newer guys should know this, they been out of their 30 days for less than a year and have already forgotten it. Also shows they don't use the methods.

Following the methods has nothing to do with reciting the DOK and reciting the DOK has nothing to do with being a safe driver. Given enough time and crackers, I could train a parakeet to recite the DOK. Its just a word game to keep the Safety Committee busy, nothing more.

Circle of honor should be exempt from any DOK testing and stuff. They've earned it by applying the principle.

Just because you can recite them word for word doesn't mean you can do them.
