Not everybody agrees wit ya!
I got out of a lot of bonds in December 2019 and more this year.
I'm sure a lot of others did as well ... maybe it's time to increase holdings in bonds.
Next year, we'll know.
Many of these bonds in these bond funds was bought at a premium and with the recent decrease in interest rates many of these bonds are going to get called. and when they get called they only get the face value not the premium they pay for them over the face value

I've seen snow before ...
Something else I was 'clueless' about.
Thinking about it, that makes sense.
During years with little snow and very cold weather the downtown and residential areas within the cities around here have all kinds of trouble with frozen water pipes. They fight it by having everyone leave one faucet in their house run with a pencil wide stream of water 24/7 to keep the water moving. During these "let them run" times the city charges no water bills. There have been times when the water was ran for a month. If you live in the country the chances of having pipe freezing problems is about zero because your driven well and buried water connection to the house is deep enough to not freeze.
