Slower demand. They have a lot of people to feed over there.
For whatever reason, people tend to view a political party’s Presidential candidate as its policy/thought leader. Which is why a Bernie nomination could potentially destroy down ballot Democrats.

Just watched a show on the History of Food and they were talking about how even during the Great Depression of the 30's the Hershey Chocolate Co. never laid off any employees. Even in tough times apparently people gots to have their candy bars.
