What educational resources do you recommend to a novice on options?
Going to sound funny, but the Najarian's books on understanding options are easy reads and a good place to start. I started with the Head of the Business Department at our local college and took a dozen classes taught by some of his colleagues. Start slow and stick to a strategy.

Who's President has little to no affect on markets. You really think the 40% run up in markets in late 2020 was because Biden was leading in national polls??

True.. when it comes to international affairs that affect our economy and the world's it matters, we might vote in a 🥕 but if he/she chooses the right cabinet and is respected by our worst adversities generally it will help the overall citizenship and the markets. We all know who is running the show anyway, same suits, different tie pins...

Biden was not leading in the polls just before the election, it was pretty much 50/50...That mysterious Chinese Virus and it's voter ramifications gave Biden the office and besides that the mass media and our international elites and enemies thought Trump was getting far too uppity...

Anywhere from +1 to +11. Even the Fox poll had a 8 pt spread.

I was just refreshing my mind on the Trump's Cabinet. I didn't realize how many people came and went during his administration. If I'm wrong please clarify, but I saw 44 different Secretaries representing 15 departments over his term. That number, if correct, is more than his 5 predecessors combined. Trump was quoted in one article that he preferred "acting" Secretaries over confirmed ones. Not surprising that 40 of the 44 ex Secretaries will not endorse the former President.

I don’t think you’re wrong, although I do think you’re posting this in the wrong thread.
