The shortest path for workers to get a better shake is labor organizing. We are all well aware who lobbies our Congresspeople, and it ain't the labor unions doing most of it. We will be waiting forever if we wait for Congress to make corporations "give" labor a better deal. Doesn't mean it's not worth courting them but it's not the straightest path.

Labor unions do quite a bit of lobbing. The problem is they don’t have the bulk of the money. politicians are for sale, and even when they take money from the labor unions, they stab them in the back more often than not. There are some exceptions to that rule, but they are a few and far between.

Only Fans and freelance workers would receive a 1099 for income earned. They wouldn't necessarily need a tax id number to operate, only report money received as income and pay appropriate taxes and withholdings.Maybe but I don’t know about calling onlyfans and gig work entrepreneurship. Forced never ending. servitude would be more appropriate name.

The level of moaning and crying and gnashing of teeth after the reality sets in when every last migrant worker has been removed from our country would easily match those of Trump’s whining about the “stolen” election.
