I agree if you read the story, it really doesn’t say they only need weapons and ammunition they don’t have enough people… it’s time to look for other options to end this.

They’ve shortened their lines because of rationing munitions. They are also short of fighters.
They don’t want to give up and Putin is in no mood to negotiate anyway. Ukraine should never give up even under full occupation. I would support them giving Russia hell as insurgents if it comes to that. People want to be free. They want to be close to the West.

Great Britain was begging for our help and we only did through Lend Lease at first because of political pressure here at home. Kinda sounds like what we’re facing today with Ukraine and potentially other states in Europe.

Well, I don’t think that’s what he wants. And of course, that would not be acceptable.. but we should just keep fighting instead of sitting down and seeing if there’s some sort of peaceful solution.
Eventually, they’ll be asking for human beings to come help in Ukraine, as well. Is that acceptable for you? I hope you sign up.

Brother, that’s what large amounts of military hardware and munitions in a timely manner would help to avoid.
And don’t get me wrong, I really believe Western Europe should be pulling out all the stops to put out this fire as much as we should here.

When both sides sit down at the table and I hear what they want, then we will know. No one seems to want to do that. In the meantime, this whole affair is not going well for the world.
Clearly we’ve tried war and unless everyone has the stomach for a lot more of it and a lot more involvement and deaths it’s time to sit down and figure this out like adults. At the very least we can say we tried.

At best, Ukraine is at a standstill. And a very dangerous situation for the world..
This is the defining moment in President Biden‘s administration. Can he be the world leader that can bring peace? Or will we just continue down a path towards world war?
If, indeed, we plan to include Ukraine in NATO This may be Vladimir Putin/chance to make a reasonable exit from this war.. He may be evil, but he is not stupid.

I support this. I also understand that Ukraine may make the decision to cleave off part of what they’ve lost. If they want to fight, though, I say we give them what they need to have to fight.
