going to be an ugly day tommorrow unless the fed gives hope of an easing
They just need to give a big increase and slow it down now.

We also need to generate our own fuel sources instead of buying fuel from all over the world that would bring inflation down a good bit
We also have to find a way to get people to go back to work

I think Powell might have been serious when he said prepare for pain. I doubt he's going to ease.

Housing market inventory up 30% but prices still up 20%. I think the whole tower needs to fall before he pivots and there's still plenty of pieces left to drop.

3% unemployment rate and you say the problem is not enough people working? McDonalds paying fry cooks $20/hr and Union jobs starting at $15/hr and FT Union driving jobs starting at $20/hr?

You literally do not understand what’s coming because you refuse to look further than the end of your nose…

the problem is as I see it( while sleeping in a holiday Inn express) is they have jacked up the interest rate dramatically in a short time period. I think they should pause to see if its enough. We realistically do not have enough time for the rate increases to have an effect. Jacking them up too much could send us deep into a recession.

Our domestic production is still 1000 barrels a day short of where we were pre-covid. You know trump would have had those oil executives in the white house last year beating on them to ramp up.

Actually that was by order of governors and mayors. Health emergencies as well as natural disasters are dealt with on the local level, not by the national government.
I remember the shut downs, I just believe it's a little disingenuous to lay it at Trump's feet. Local health departments set their policy in line with CDC guidelines.
Nah. Strip clubs and liquor stores were protected while churches and gyms were closed under trump. If it was under Biden you would lay it at Biden's feet.

You are just wrong, there is no other way to put it.
Your own article.

To help curb the spread of the coronavirus, the U.S. basically shut down in the middle of March. Retail stores, restaurants, and public spaces were closed to prevent gatherings, and people were asked to stay inside through shelter-in-place and stay-at-home orders.

And it was trump who was president at the time

Look at the title. Don't be a 728UPS.
It's best to say "I stand corrected."

I would prefer nothing had been locked down. It doesn't seem to have worked anyway right?
Well Trump had no control over that.
He did have control over appointing supreme court justices though.

So tell me Mr. Dum.....
Who appointed the lady in this picture?
