Local midterm. Walked in 10 minutes before the pool closed, handed over my certification. It was a piece of paper with a candidate for city alderman's signature. I sat around for an hour and a half while the pool workers did some fiddling, got a print off. Headed to the campaign party (local dive bar) and drank for free.

Now if every candidate in every election sent a poll watcher in the smelly room in the old folks home there would probably have been fire code violation.

I don't claim to know what happens in every state, but they sound similar enough.

They very well might have won legitimately, but they won't take the chance, so we'll probably never know.

All we can do is look at the percentage of mail in ballots that were rejected in these Democrat run areas in previous elections and compare it to this one after the fact.
