The news keeps telling us we are horrible and killing people, the president of the USA is basically threatening us.
It's tough to keep your head right. I constantly worry I might have to flee my home state as a refugee. I might lose my job. I can't go to restaurants or gyms, and the trajectory points to further and further exclusion and discrimination.

I'd bet we'd all be a lot less "off the deep end" if they would just leave us alone to live how we see fit.

I read today that over 40% of blacks haven't gotten vaccinated. I've noticed that a vast majority of black people also wear masks constantly. I deliver to a couple of black neighborhoods and more than a few homes have signs on the front door asking people to wear masks.
Anyone have any idea why there would be different behavior among black people?

That’s why I have a problem with it. No one should be forced to believe anything. As long as they are not harming anyone, their beliefs are their own. The inquisition didn’t just go after blasphemers, but Christian purest who wished to separate the harlot religion from what Jesus taught. We are coming to a time again where the state is trying to shove their own secular humanistic religion down everyone’s throat. In the case of the United States they are violating the very law(s) they swore an oath to uphold and therefore are creating a new kind of inquisition. In this country, you can’t take away one or more persons unalienable creator endowed individual rights without taking those rights away from everyone.

It is possible to get the flu even though one has been given a flu shot. The symptoms are generally much milder and duration much shorter.

The same applies to Covid.
