Well, only chance of me getting let go is if they one day find me as redundant which hopefully there is going to be at least a bit of cash in my severance package if it happens, Or we ch 11. Sad to see management getting shafted though, some ppl I knew who were good guys who got told to get out. Especially the older folk, it seems for UPS its time to tell old management to retire early and get out of here.

They’re looking for about 160 high time (big dollar) Captains to take a very nice early retirement package.
At Least $125k/year pension, free healthcare until Medicare age, etc.
May be hard because they’ve got it REALLY good just bidding Reserve ( minimal flying) and making $350K +/-

And that's for being "on call". Some only fly the minimum 3 flights every 90 days to stay current and that may be what you would call a "Local" flight.
