It's not a sensor. It is a camera. All cell phone companies are calling their cameras censors.

I bet you don't even know why the cell phone companies have stopped calling camera's,"camera's", and now call them censors.

Censors are allowed in restrooms and bathrooms. Cameras are not. Legal hogwash.

@Ou812fu might have a point though.
Law enforcement knows lie detector reports are not admissible in court, yet millions are spent administering lie detector tests every year.

Fail a polygraph, and the police will move you to the top of the list of suspects.

Probably the same for a "sensor" that indicates multiple infractions.

It is still a camera. Inward facing camera..

Simple.

Article 6 NMUPSA

Any functionality included in driver-facing cameras (including their driver recording and monitoring functionality) will be disabled and rendered inoperable to prevent recording and monitoring of in-cab activities.

I heard of a driver reverse engineering the camera and turning it into a video feed from the people who sit and watched him all day. It turned out that it was transportation secretary Pete Buttigied & Alex Jones

The camera works, even when it shows black. Look up the patent. The video the company shows you to prove it is off, actually proves the opposite. You can see the two bar graphs below running. And show low and high data captures.
Pit a delivery notice over it

Yeah, that’s really happening at ups and the discipline process 🙄 they’re watching you on that camera right now 😂law-enforcement is on the way. You never should’ve taken that sip of water.
It’s actually worse than video if you can think it through. 10hrs of video per day per driver is useless for anything but harrassung targeted drivers. Who has time to watch it? A report that shows where the driver is and what happens that can be read for the whole center in seconds? Priceless

Why do you think the cameras are positioned to look in the bulkhead door and not on the driver side to get a better look at driver and they/them view?

Lol how do you make it through life? You do realize there’s more cameras pointing at you every day than anything in the cab of your truck? I’ve had more than a dozen people terminated because of cameras unrelated to UPS and exactly 0 related to anything in cab, but you keep trying and keep worrying because apparently you lose a lot of sleep about this. Thankfully the contract outlines pretty clearly they can’t really use them for much of anything.

Also, how long have you worked here? Do you realize we’ve had telematics for several decades that they’ve been able to use to target and harass? They’ve known almost exactly what you’re doing in your car for quite a long time.
