How exactly did you get “caught”?
Did not follow CYA protocol. Immediately after lunch break, move the truck and/or have some diad activity.

Always have your next stop to do after lunch set up before the previous stop before lunch. If you need to sort, you do that after doing one stop.

Or sort your truck a little at a time at each stop. Don't stop and try to do it all at once.

Yeah but it has way more users and way more up to date information for real UPS'ers than here. That's not even debatable.
This site is basically a dinosaur graveyard at this point. You can't even count on it to be working on a day to day basis.
Way more people for sure, most of the information is not useful.

I think it is.

A lot of r/upsers is just preload crying.

But there are actually some really smart and old school drivers over there too. Especially educated in the contract and state of the company vs union. You can gef way more educated over there.

This site is cool and has some great people. But for active UPS'ers yeah reddit is the place.

It was actually a center manager that told us not to sort load, be prepared to do something immediately after lunch to avoid one of those automatic alerts they get. Less headaches.

A lot of those old school drivers actually post here you just don’t know who they are on Reddit 😉

And always be careful what advice you take from anyone online because local rules and agreements could be different. Very difficult on a national level to give people advice that pertains to them.

As usual, it’s always better to ask your steward or your business agent locally.

I can't believe drivers still think because they run under, or "in the top 7 drivers in the center" gives them some kind of immunity. They will fire a scratch driver just as fast as a dirtbag, 30 year vet or 2 year driver. Just do it by the book and assume somebody is watching you all day long.
Very good point. They fired a guy who runs scratch every day for addendance. But he missed 7 saturdays in a row agter his first suspension

Very true if you take your lunch and then take another 20 minutes to sort your load it looks fishy on their reports and they probably will come out and watch it at some point.

It could be that you’re actually doing that but then again we all know some people don’t.

See man.. This why I don't file... Shiet ain't worth it. If you file every week you better be doing EVERYTHING by the book. And I'm not trying to live that lifestyle where I'm constantly looking over my shoulders.

Good luck bro. I'm sure you'll get your job back.
You're right, its not worth to heat. If they want me to stop filing. They win. I dont want to experience this again
