As stated, you can never be forced to work. However, some supplements do allow scheduling a sixth punch at the employers whim. Some also allow for weekend work when Christmas is on a Sunday or Monday. You should contact your steward or BA.

No it is not. At least not in the Central and probably most other supplements.

Work will be scheduled for 5 consecutive days, M-friend or T-S.

They cannot invoke Article 40 of the Master since Christmas Eve is not a Holiday.

Here, it is volunteer only.
