Forge Starts Tomorrow

After a good decision to postpone Forge until after Peak, it’s being foisted on us tomorrow. We had a single one hour training session with a courier who seemed to know it. Still, not nearly enough training. Managers and dispatchers don’t know it, either. It’s going to be great when everyone is on the road and needs to call someone (as yet unknown). Should be amusing.

We do about 10 mins of training to use it. I can’t imagine spending an hour training someone to use the app.

I noticed no difference. What was the version called that you are suffered to use?

Not sure. But apparently there are two versions floating around. One’s the latest upgrade. The other doesn’t let your Leo scan. This is going to go smoothly.

Omg. It’s been ok enough for pickups. But delivery is disastrous. If they’re closed or not in, there are 22 1/2 steps to take, most of them repetitive. Yuck.

Overall, the problem is that the software is tailored for what Ground does, which is largely different. After so many cases of me needing to make corrections or compensate for what forge can’t do, I start to lose my interest in helping customers.
