We got insane snow a few years ago. This year is going to be a late start. Good news is we have ice starting. Fishing should be great.View attachment 502117
Similar to the one we had in the 70's that was called the "Halloween Blizzard". Started on a Friday afternoon and snowed VERY hard for the next 2 days. No--we didn't get any "weather condition" days off. My Daughter took her State drivers test on the monday after the blizzard . Snow was piled up 6-8 foot high in the middle of the city streets---she passed. That was back when men were men and their Daughters were tough as nails.
We haven't even began to get cold enough to start freezing the lakes. It was 52 degrees today. Still tee-shirt weather. We got insane snow a few years ago. This year is going to be a late start. Good news is we have ice starting. Fishing should be great.
We got buried on the east coast too.View attachment 502117

I was at work (inside the building) when the blizzard of 78 hit. We went out to the parking lot after work and went wtf? Half the cars were so frozen they wouldn't start.View attachment 502117
