I slapped a dog in the face with a shoe that was on the floor at a pick up at a house. The bastard was always trying to bully me. I’m not that one. After I smacked him I told the owner that the dogs problem was lack of discipline. I thought I would be called in for that, nope. Never had an issue after that.
