Aww, your negativity scale is going in the wrong direction, I LOVE IT! I see now its a transition to "gas is $4 a gallon" instead of "gas is going to be $5 a gallon".... You got 15 cents to milk in negativity for about another 10 days.
Look for $3.75 gas by memorial day. Then it will be "gas is 3.75 gallon, whats this world coming too"...
By the way, where is TRPS 4 cent increase he promised us last week? Oh yeah, too much FOX NEWS. FAIL.

Already factored into the price missy. Gas is traded in three month increments. The price today reflects july prices... hope this helps you out. KEEP WISHING FOR HIGHER PRICES THOUGH!! Thats so AMERICAN!

Whoa, my head is spinning. First Obama causes the prices of gas/oil to go up, then he has nothing to do with it. We can't refine the oil we have so we need to drill more? Jeff Carter is a propagandist. Everything that spews from his mouth is spoken with one aim, to make himself more money.

I can't care less. Hope gas goes up to $10 a gallon.
Might get those American fat ladies in pick up trucks, to actually walk a block to the nearest corner fastfood joint. Trimm of some fat and be a more healthier society.
Maybe it might even lead to a massive fast moving public transportation, like it did in Europe and Japan ?

Oh look, San Clemente DOWN AGAIN like the rest of southern california!! $4.09 cents here in my town! Must be a miracle because there isnt a single extra drop of oil being pumped out of anywhere!

I don't think you understand how ignorant your comment is. If gas reached $10 a gallon, we would already be a a major depression by then. The US economy (can't speak for Canada but I do have a theory) would grind to a halt. Truckers would be unable to make money, therefore transportation costs would skyrocket causing rapid inflationary conditions which would ripple across all economies. People who are barely hanging on would go under, the housing industry would collapse bringing down many other industries. The automotive industry would collapse as well also bringing down many businesses and industry. Disposable income would be gone, causing just about all the rest of our economy to collapse.
I could go on and on...
I was giving you a break because I thought, well you realize that America has an impact on Canada and you are from a more liberal Canadian climate and you just are not real informed about American politics.... but your post is just plain ignorant or you were just "stinko" drunk, when you posted it!
Either way, your true colors came out in that post.

Dude, really? Gas is at $4.03 in Cicero at the Red Apple(I'm not kidding, Ovah) and it cost me $66 and change to fill up. My car has the same size tank as my first outback. It cost me $26 to fill up that car and that was 9 years ago. If you are excited about a 3-5 cent swing in prices, you need to lay off the pipe. I do realize it's 4.20 today and a Friday to boot, but come on!
A month ago, gas was at 4.45 in my town. 3 to 5 cents is not even close to the gap between 4.09 and 4.45. The bigger point is that gas at the pumps is dropping. The oil companies have milked a crapload of money out of all of us for the first quarter before they drop the price back to 2.75 just before the elections. They made RECORD profits, even higher than the best BUSH year for profits.
Stick with the program.
I still believe 4 bucks is high and we shouldnt be paying this price, because there is NO legitimate reason for it. Chevron and BP both needed to make up lost profits in fines and lawsuits for spills into the ocean and WE PAID those fines.
Now they will gradually reduce the cost to the consumer 6 cents a week until the get oil back to 75 bucks a barrel.

I still have my high school vehicle my mom use to give me $20 to fill up and I could go grab a sandwich with the left over money. Now $20 doesn't get me HALF a tank.

You're probably right !
Germans earns an average of about $10 more per hr with bennies than Americans, cope with $10 a gallon gas, exports more than America, and is less in debt, too.
It can't be done in the US, you're right.

There are a lot of reasons for the speculation on the price per barrel of oil but one of the chief components is that the Fed is printing money to pay the cost of our debt. Let there be no mistake... This is BOs fault. In so doing, oil which is traded with the dollar is affected. When the dollar is weak, the price of a barrel of oil raises to make up the difference. It is not rocket science. This is the reason the price of precious metals and stones goes up as well. But those prices (precious metals and stones) don't affect you or me directly.
