Since when? Company policy is they provide you with everything except for items for hands and feet (excluding underwear too).

I'm talking about UPS as a company. Company does not provide gloves, socks, or shoes. If your center/hub does then it's their personal perogative.

I always liked Mechanix gloves. They are comfortable and last a couple months. Not cheap, but I'll pay for a little extra comfort.

What are you talking about? I have stated the simple fact that UPS doesn't provide gloves. Your center may and good for them. Some centers might get donuts every week, others don't. Where have I gone wrong?
