Newfie spent an entire afternoon attacking me personally for not serving in the military. He doesn’t believe anyone that didn’t serve can question the patriotism of anyone. I’m sure he extends that logic to Trump. I can’t wait for his poorly thought out justification for his obvious hypocrisy.
The difference is Trump supports the military and proves it all the time. What matters is the here and now, not something in the past you think you can smear him on. Because we all know you guys don't give a fig about the military, only what you can use to attack Trump.

Going after what he did 50 years ago is pretty much grasping at anything to smear him. What's important is does the military support him? It's an answer you don't like.
Why? You got a feeling things might heat up if Trump has been a very bad little boy in Mueller’s report and he tries to use the military to resist removal from office?
Maybe trump will be given an honorary military uniform and get to have a little Egyptian-style strongman thing going on? Could then have as many military parades as he wanted and openly talk to Shawn and daddy Vladimir any time of day. Not just before bedtime.

Who’s the current VA secretary? Here’s a hint, he fired the old one with no replacement plan, then appointed the first doctor he saw walking around, he let that drag on for 8 weeks and recently just picked some guy from DOD. It’ll be 4-5 months with no director at the VA, a department that is totally screwed up. Yes, Trump cares for veterans so much he jacked up the department that is tasked with their care with no plan to fix it. That wasn’t 50 years ago, that’s the here and now.
