I was reading some old posts here. I'm currently on workman's compensation. I work for UPS Freight in NY. From my understanding according to our contract. UPS will pay my health benefits for 1 year due to a workman's comp issue here.
My question is. Am I required to still pay my end? I called teamcare and the person on their end said they don't send a bill. But a friend of mine said he got a bill.
So I called UPS HR. The man there stated the only thing they send a bill for is my life insurance.
So if I'm understanding this correctly there's no out of pocket while on comp for health benefits? Just my life insurance?
