Well teamcare has a large surplus we all know this. I would imagine other local plans are operating at least somewhat in the black.I’m not. I was just saying it would be very informative for members if you could elaborate. Forgetaboutit

So if the plans have money in the bank it would be political suicide for them to cut benefits for a week or two strike.
I know it seems hard to come by nowadays but it would be nice if people could use the little bit of common sense they have when discussing this stuff.
According to the TDU website article that I posted not all regions are covered. It did say TeamCare is.We keep our health insurance and tony is a liar who tries to use scare tactics. Vote no twice. Buy a vote make ups great again
They told us we would be covered in the event of a strike. The union is now running the healthcare plans. It would be suicide for them not to cover members for a week or two if there was a strike.
It is absolutely disgusting what is happening at high levels of the union right now.
You’re willing to bet your livelihood on that? Why will UPS comeback with a better offer if they know we won’t strike? There will not be a strike after the first vote. They will renegotiate.
Stop trying to scare people so you can get your pension money and screw over everyone else. You are garbage.
I had to pay for COBRA 3 years ago, was $600 week for my family.Sure how much is COBRA since some people will have to pay it if we go on strike. Seriously show them the amount.
So what happens if god forbid you are in an accident or have a medical emergency that week?WFD. Even if we strike it will be worth not having healthcare for a week for a better contract. Not the end of the world. First day back healthcare is also back. Keep digging up scare tactics.
Flop on welfare 100 percent coverage and free prescriptions. Half the people I know are on itWhose healthcare gets dropped if we go on strike and whose doesn’t? I bet most of you guys have not even asked your Local or talked to your wife about it.
Lmfao.Flop on welfare 100 percent coverage and free prescriptions. Half the people I know are on it
200 a month in food stamps on a debit card too. Free dental and vision here and you sit right next to me at the same drs I go to. Also walk right in that emergency room anytime you feel like it no charge. You even sign up on line.Lmfao.
14.5 billion is a big lie. You won’t give line by line what adds up to 14.5 billion because we all know much of that 14.5 billion is company “gets”. Dues paying members that vote are not getting something from the increased starting rate, that is a company necessity based on the market conditions. Put that raise into existing part timers and you can have it as part of the 14.5 billion. We aren’t stupid like you and DT and just spit out numbers the company feeds you. You want it to pass the second time, I suggest doing more for existing members that are actually able to vote. The company’s insistanance on 22.4’s and the 14.5 billion dollar package.
When we strike it won’t be for a week. I’ve warned you all along. Ups is ready to scrap this whole thing and change the business model. Coming back a whole lot leaner.
if that was true, no way they spend the last year constructing second floor multi million dollar automated small sort mezzanines across the northeast. they would have waited to see the outcome of this contract if they were planning on re modelling and trimming down there business before spending that money.

Well when major shippers leave UPS won’t have to worry about HEAVY volume. Smartactually they use the same if not more employees. its a speed thing not a labor cutting thing designed for HEAVY volume
Funny you think UPS would wait on this contract before investing in their business.if that was true, no way they spend the last year constructing second floor multi million dollar automated small sort mezzanines across the northeast. they would have waited to see the outcome of this contract if they were planning on re modelling and trimming down there business before spending that money.
Can’t wait. This job will be easy again. Lmao.Well when major shippers leave UPS won’t have to worry about HEAVY volume. Smart
