I have a digiq temperature controller on mine so it's set and forget. I do pork butts and briskets overnight while I sleep like a baby.
Today, I smoked a ham I cured myself. Set the controller and enjoyed the rest of the beautiful day not babysitting the smoker.
Im currently contemplating purchasing a smoker and will be a newbie to smoking meat. What brand smokers do you all have? Any suggestions and recipes to get me started would be appreciated.
