He's a rock star now.His vote count will be higher this time.

He made some of the best supplemental enhancements in our contract. He will single handedly dwarf Tubby Tim's vote count.
I digress, the only way H2O loses to Tubby Tim is if they change the election to a food challenge or a butter eating contest.
O was suspended from the Teamsters for threatening members.
Wasn't that election before he was suspended for THREATENING other TEAMSTERS?
I know that you are O'Brien's biggest fan.He made some of the best supplemental enhancements in our contract. He will single handedly dwarf Tubby Tim's vote count.
I think the Teamster Union is long overdue for a change in leadership.I understand your point.
But, getting caught up in a (emotional) moment.... is that really a bad thing ?
Who do you think, would best represent you ?
A die hard Teamster ?
Or, someone that hides behind a P.O. Box ??
Life.... is replete with choices.
If I was a perfect "human being", I could criticize.
Think about it.

Can't deny the contractual wins of this team. Sorry. Tim S should have been suspended for costing workers their jobs. No comparison buddy. O's legacy speaks for itself. Highest votes in the last election. He must be doing something right.
And you forgot the he received a higher vote count for the east than Alexandra did for the country. It's easy to cast aspersions from the cheap seats. What members have lost their jobs as a result of actions by Tim? As for O's legacy, I'd agree that it speaks for itself. He's just the latest in a long line of thugs to run Local 25. Threatening members who are running to oppose one of your pals is a violation of the IBT Constitution. It's also frowned upon by the Independent Review Board. That's why the "legacy" was suspended.
As to O receiving the "Highest votes in the last election", that would suggest that he received more votes than Hoffa. He didn't. He actually received the most votes of the candidates running for the position of Eastern Regional Vice President.
You think we were voting it down because we fear change? Wow there's no getting through to all the yes voters. I didn't vote no because I feared change. I voted no because of all the concessions , not just for the healthcare issue alone. And all you people that say the locals that held out we're doing it cause the healthcare issue, how the hell do you know? I think there were a lot more issues then just the healthcare and the no voters knew it too. Nobody should have had the contract forced on them because they had the balls to stand strong and stand together! Hopefully people will see this as a dictatorship and not a democracy, hopefully my brothers and sisters are ready for a change. Let's get rid of Hoffa and Hall in this upcoming election. They stood up for jack s. They stood up after the fact. A few locals were were displeased with teamcare and I get that because people fear change. However, if Fatty and Z Boy were true leaders, they should have stood up and started their own local health plan. Did they? No way! It's much easier to ride the negative coat tails and call H2O a bunch of names. People like that make me sick.
Yet you continually chastise the powers that be in Local 804 who were only guilty of over zealously defending an unjustly discharged member?I understand your point.

I pray you get in someday. Can't wait to see how it changes you.Yet you continually chastise the powers that be in Local 804 who were only guilty of over zealously defending an unjustly discharged member?
O on the other hand was guilty of "getting caught up in an emotional moment" looking out for himself and his political ambitions.
Life.... is replete with choices.
Which choice was worse?
Think about it.
Exactly!!!!You think we were voting it down because we fear change? Wow there's no getting through to all the yes voters. I didn't vote no because I feared change. They for sure didn't, they were too out of breath from the 1/2 mile or more walk from their car to the NSA gate. Not one of them talked about healthcare? Sure!
That's awesome that you went and were active with them. I tried my hardest in my local even had guys over to my house where I'd try to educate them.Exactly!!!!
These drones only know what their told.
I know what Local 89 wanted and what they were fighting for, because I went there and talked to hundreds of members and not one of them talked about healthcare.
None of the literature that I help passed out said a word about the healthcare.
They were fighting for improved working conditions and their votes were not heard.
This contract was sold on lies from the beginning, and when it backfired to the tune of 18 failed supplements, the IBT called an audible and enacted the most ridiculous language I can imagine, Art 12 sec 6 of the Constitution.
This section of the article renders the rest mute in one sentence and it must be amended next summer at the Convention.
All the yes voters. Now isn't that your real problem, not Hoffa or Hall but all the yes voters who happen to exceed the no voters?Wow there's no getting through to all the yes voters.
No my problem is with Hoffa and Hall when my supplement passed I was kinda pissed. I voted no and it didn't go my way but the majority voted yes so I had to live with it. But when Hoffa turned his back on the last 3 locals ( I think it was 3) who voted no and forced the contract on them, that's just bs. Hoffa should have fought for those members not turned his back on them. When he turned his back on those locals he turned his back on all Teamsters! All the yes voters. Now isn't that your real problem, not Hoffa or Hall but all the yes voters who happen to exceed the no voters?
That's the point. How long was the majority suppose to wait for the NMA, that they voted yes for, to be ratified when three locals couldn't negotiate a local supplement?I voted no and it didn't go my way but the majority voted yes so I had to live with it.
