If he had paid his dues since the 60s and was a member, then he would've been eligible to run for GP in 91. He was ineligible.
Some locals have a withdrawal period. He was a lawyer for the joint council. If he had paid his dues since the 60s and was a member, then he would've been eligible to run for GP in 91. He was ineligible.
Exactly...but Belly has struggled with this inconvenient fact for a very long time.If he had paid his dues since the 60s and was a member, then he would've been eligible to run for GP in 91. He was ineligible.
Lol. Almost spit my beer out.James P. Hoffa grew up on picket lines and in union meetings. He is the only son of James R. Hoffa, former General President of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters. On his 18th birthday, Hoffa received his own union card and was sworn in by his father. Prior to becoming Administrative Assistant to Michigan Joint Council 43, Hoffa was a labor lawyer in Detroit for 25 years.
TEAMSTER CAREER
1960s: Teamster laborer in Detroit and Alaska, loading and unloading freight from ships, driving trucks and buses, and operating heavy equipment.
E
1968-93: Teamster attorney representing members in workers compensation cases, Social Security, and personal legal matters; represented Teamster joint councils and local unions.
1993-98: Administrative Assistant to the President of Michigan Joint Council 43.
1999-Present: General President, International Brotherhood of Teamsters.
All accurate info. Also he has consistently PAID HIS DUES since the 60's. He worked unloading ships on the Great Lakes, and he worked driving trucks, heavy equipment and buses in Alaska during the construction of the BEMIS (Ballistic Missle Early Warning System) military base.
If you go to the IBT website, you'll see that Belly cut and pasted most of this information. The final paragraph was added by Belly and is anything but "accurate info." JH did not consistently pay his dues since the 60's! C'mon Belly...try as you may, you just can't put lipstick on a pig.Lol. Almost spit my beer out.
Dude I'm pretty sure you aren't even a teamster so what makes you think you know. Just because you work for Tdu doesn't make you a teamster. When Tim S lost you had to go back to Tdu.If you go to the IBT website, you'll see that Belly cut and pasted most of this information. Belly, Belly, Belly...We've been through this before. H was ruled ineligible to run for GP in 1991 because he did not pay dues for the 24 consecutive months prior to the nominations. If he did not meet the 24 month requirement in 1991...then he did not consistently pay his dues since the 60's. What's really odd about this is that H never made that claim...you did. You copied his bio from the IBT website and added the paragraph about his dues. Again, you did it...own it!Dude I'm pretty sure you aren't even a teamster so what makes you think you know. Nice misdirection. You aren't a teamster at all. You are a Tdu employeeBelly, Belly, Belly...We've been through this before. Now...this may come as a surprise to you Belly...but not everyone who disagrees with you works for TDU. If that were the case, the TDU staff would be larger than the IBT staff! Get over it Belly.
Are you really saying that Hoffa didn't pay dues for 24 months or that there was a break in in his 24 consecutive status? Huge difference.Belly, Belly, Belly...We've been through this before. Total BS Belly...and you know it. That makes you pretty damn pathetic.Nice misdirection. You aren't a teamster at all. You are a Tdu employee
I am a teamster, not a Hoffa teamster Just stuck with him for now unfortunatelyNice misdirection. You aren't a teamster at all. You are a Tdu employee
Wrong as always. Upstate thinks he knows it all. I hope the wound is deep and a salt truck drop a load in itThe election was over long before the first ballots were cast.
