You want a free market try Somalia, it’s wonderful without a pesky central government and their burdensome regulations.

its gone down hill, which is what it was doing before. im not sure Obama was better than bush. Obama wasn't good enough.
The stock markets. The futures markets. The banks. Wall Street. The insurance industry. The real estate markets. Craigslist. eBay. The Fortune 500. The financial media. 401k's. Car manufacturers. Aircraft manufacturers. The military-industrial complex. Hollywood. Big pharma. Higher Education. The medical industry in all of it's forms. Air cargo. The trucking industry. Capitalism has brought more prosperity, more freedom, to more people, than any other ism in history. If you deny that then you either don't know history or you have certain issues.

I can move to the other side of the city, the state, the country without asking for permission. I can start a business or live off the grid in the boondocks growing my own food. I can travel around the country if I so choose in a RV. The sky is the limit on what I can do based on my efforts to achieve my goals. All you're proposing is another way to do work and under your system I suspect I'll have no choice but to work until I'm too old to because the state requires it for the common good. Under your system the state will decide a lot of things for me so that everyone is more or less equal. Can't just move anywhere because the state has decided they need me right here. Can't have a RV because the state has decided they hurt the environment. You talk of freedom but I don't see freedom under you system. And frankly I don't care if a guy gets richer than me under capitalism. Good for him. All I care about is doing what I want when I want when I'm old enough to not want to work anymore. I'm there now. The 1% can have all the luxury, they can't make me work for them. If you envy the wealth they have, resent it, then you are the one with the problem.
