Is anyone following Wisconsin?

Well unions were one thing, and that's not over yet. The next thing is that some democrats want to raise minimum wage. I think it's GOPs in Michigan that are trying to lower it? That is a joke. You start talking bout minimum wage and ppl's livelihoods, you get their attention. That is the one thing a majority of ppl agree on. In one of the votes it was like 79/21 in favor of upping the minimum wage. IMO the right won't get better odds on that stand. Economic populism. A lot of extreme republicans are against it. Now I have a great job just now, but any number of things could change that. I've got a couple back-up plans that are promising, but if they didn't pan out or I didn't enjoy them, I would want the minimum wage as high as I could get it. That really could create an economic boom. And I still haven't seen any documentation telling me my pension is fully funded. So I might want an easy hourly job when I'm old so I can go once a year and sit on some rocks and watch the sun go down.

Minimum Wage was NOT FOR LIVING ON!

that's because the right is more likely to believe the crazy talk. They eat it up. Hell, seems now they revel in their hatred. I admit that there are those on the left that went way too far with bush and cheney, but the down-right lies that the right believe about obama is self-defeating for them. The right is positioning obama for a land-slide victory because any general election candidate is going to have to say ridiculous, un-credible things just to get there. That's why an honorable, intelligent politician like mitch daniels won't run. Too much decency. But you can get all the huckabee's, palin's, gingrich's, and bachman's out there flying their ol' vain glories. Don't kid yourselves though. None of them are main-stream enough to get independent voters and obama will do enough to show he tries to work with the other side to win over those same voters.

Stunning amounts of money has been spent over the years from Ralph C. Stayer, president of Johnsonville Foods, and his sister Launa Stayer and Johnsonville staff. They are major contributors to Scott Walker donating over $44,000 since 2005!

The thing is these groups(labor) that give to the dems are working people, middle class folk who donate to the dems (mostly) to play defense. Dont forget, corporations outspend labor by 20 to 1. George Soros is the exception but also remember he stayed out of this latest election in 2010. As a smart capitalist, he saw the political winds shift and saved his money. Add the fact that the Supreme ct's ruling in Citizen's United opened the flood gates to all corporate money now. You name about 25 unions, but thousands of rich people along with their corp PACs have bought and sold our government.

The courts could "VOID" the law, stay tuned. This fight aint over.

Peace.

Oh, its over alright. The democrats have returned, the republicans have a quorum. All they have to do is pass the bill again to satisfy any "rules" issue that may need to be met and the whole thing will be legal! Goodbye public unions in Wisconsin!

Nah. Shop it around and find a judge to put an injunction on it. You know. The way the republicans tried to halt health-care reform.
