Kettle bells, what exercises help for shoulder n low back muscle growin?

You want a toe? I can get you a toe.
Deadlifts are probably going to be your best bet for lower back muscle building. For my back, I do those in conjunction with about five different varieties of pull ups (10 wide grip, 5 narrow grip, 5 wide grip behind the neck, 5 shoulder width behind the neck, and 5 upside down).

Three sets of that cycle (the deadlift sets being completely separate though), along with core exercises. About two days later is when I really start to feel it setting in, all the way up from my lower back, through the lats and into the shoulders.
Sounds a lot like my back day. The first 30 minutes or so is a deadlift set followed by pull ups or chin ups. Repeat 5-7 sets. I also never do sets of more than 7 on deadlift.

I didn't deadlift until 27/28 years old. It quickly became one of my favorite lifts.

Not recently. Barbell row weighted chin ups are better for bicep growth. Although the bicep is a small muscle. Triceps make up 3/4 of ones arm size.

If I do curls it's usually to wear my biceps out before I work out back so I know my back muscles are doing most of the pulling.
My point is you go to any gym and you'll see just about everybody doing some sort of isolation exercise they are not useless when you are specifically focusing on an individual muscle group.

Your argument is everyone else is doing it? Come on now. We both know 90% of people have no idea what they are doing at the gym.

And I said almost useless. ALMOST. As far as the OP goes is it better than nothing at all. Sure but his time could be better spent doing a large number of other exercises.

Results speaks for themselves. The argument is not because everybody else is doing it. Its because it works. You do what works for you that doesn't necessarily mean it's what it's going to work for everyone and everybody has their own different goals.
