Klein's very own current events thread

Hey, I got this email today:

Dear (Cach)

First off Michelle and I would like to thank you for all you do to stand up for great nation against the gross incompetency invading from our North. I realize that your Canadian lineage makes it hard for you to fight against your fellow countrymen as they attempt to disparage the American way of life.

Rest assured though , you are not alone. Millions of your fellow Americans, influenced by the scourge that is Klein, have looked into their hearts and have come to hate him as much as you. Also I have issued an executive order and directed the nations intelligence agencies to delve deep into Mr Klein's background for information to combat him with. They were able to gather over 100,000 hits in over a matter of minutes. Things from he falsifying his true heritage to his political affiliation (Nazi) to horrible, horrible photos of him doing terrible things to frankfurters with his own body. I believe that last part is a violation of the Geneva Convention and have forwarded the information to them.

I realize it has been a long road and the Mr Klein and others like him are not true representation of the Canadian citizenship and are embarrassingly annoying and stupid in their actions but their is a light at the end of the tunnel. If his smoking and drinking and lack of common sense don't get the best of him then an elite special ops unit I have authorized to be assembled will. Pardon my English and let me step outside of my position but if you think the can of "whoop ass" we opened on Osama Bin Laden was impressive then wait to see how we handle Mr Klein, if thats even his real name.

In closing Michelle and I as well as our children would like to thank you again for defending our great nation against the persons that would like to see it fall. You are a great American and ,yes, a true Canadian by heritage. Thank you for trying to defeat those who would destroy the peace between our countries.

Sincerely

Barrack Obama

President of the United States of America

Gosh , Thanks Mr President!!!!

Upon request, I'll be posting my hot dog adventure here now :

First day at my new location :
Thought it would be busier there, and sure enough it was, sold tripple the amount of wieners, and actually ran out of German Bockwurst, and was close running out of the other 2 kinds (hot jalepeno 4-cheese smokies + All Alberta Beef Jumbo dogs).
Ran out of my longer style bakery submarine buns, too.
Corn on the cob almost sold out as well.

Didn't have a helper for me to go back to home-base to get more supplies though.

Just finished talking to Meagan (a great female worker that helped me out at the Antique car show last weekend) - The illegal US immigrant.
I hired her tonight - I need to get more supplies, like napkins, hotdog trays, condiments, etc.
Plus, I work weekends doing liqour store sampling.

So, see how that works ?
From being unemployed, to need to hire 1 or maybe even 2 more people.
It's just too much for me - getting up at 6:30am, and coming home after 8pm, with little chances of getting major supplies inbetween.

I suppose I only have 1 or 2 more months left before it turns too cold to be outside here - but next week, it's back to school - sales should double or tripple from all those students nearby (3 schools).

I'm very pleased how my day went - considering Sunday is 1 of the lousiest day for the liqour store, or even selling fast food - (everyone has time to cook or BBQ), and have enough booze stocked up from Friday or Saturday, or also take it easy on drinks, because of working the next day.

Very happy camper, today ! :)

Tomorrow is Monday, I should get much more cliental just from the busier street infront of me, and from the rush hr (people coming home after work - thirsty for cold beer, and hungry) ! :)

I googled " kleins hot dog adventure " and nothing came up remotely related to food sales.

I need to go wash my eyes out with bleach now.

My busy day has started already, been up since 5:30am.
Now doing laundry, then off to my bakery to do prep work and utinisel cleaning.
(health regulations here : you must do that at a licensed food establishment) - I'm not even allowed to chop an onion at home !

If he had a license to do it at home, he could. Well, in the US at least, you can.

I looked into that.
You would need a whole seperate kitchen, and totally outside living quarters, like a redevoloped basement suit or garage with all washable flooring, dual large sinks, washable, protected light fixtures, etc.
And of course pass government approval upon inspection.
You can also not store anything else in that dedicated kitchen space , than food related items.
No tools, no other storage space usage, etc, and governemnt inspectors will come by without notice, making sure you obey all rules.
Kinda like operating a restaurant.

If I ever grow larger (more carts) - I would consider leasing a space , rather than turning my home upside down !

I got chitt at the other day by an old aged lady with a walker.
She asked me how much a baked potato was, I told her $2.00.
She said "Are you insane" ?
I SAID," But, Madam, it comes fully loaded with butter, shredded cheddar cheese, sour cream, chives" !

She told me " I don't give a damn, you are insane charging $2.00 for a potato" !

Next time she can go to Wendy's - they charge closer to $5.00 for that same spud !

-OR- she can buy a 10 lb. bag of Idahos for $3.39 and have a potato everyday for a month.

Yeah, and spend a dollar just to have the BBQ going on propane for those 20 minutes or more,
(I don't pre-nuke my spuds - no nuker on site - mine take atleast an hr to bake throughly).

plus another $1.00 for the toppings (cheese ain't cheap, neither is sour cream or butter).

Well, todaay was lousier than I thought it would be, but it was soo damn hot, doesn`t make people hungry at all. 31C I believe it hit. People won`t recognize me anymore, so dark tanned , almost Mexican look a-like !

Got some good news though today.
I did stop by Boston Pizza a few weeks back after work, again.
Out of the hell of it, I entered to win a BBQ - got the call today - I won it ! It`s fully stainless steel, and a few thousand dollars worth.
I guess it`s so big, she told me to bring a pick-up truck to pick it up.

But, not didn I only win that, I`m also invited to Boston Pizza`s private block party.
Free pizza and drinks.
I`ll also receive a truck key when I pick up the BBQ, and if my key starts that brand new truck it`s all mine !
About a chance 1:15 or 1:20 for me to win it (don`t think they have more than that many franchises in the Edmonton area).

Wouldn`t that be karma ? - got fired from UPS for BP, and now might gain a $40K truck from it ! :)

I can already visualize the newspaper and local TV news. Probably worth a small headline :)

Illegals all look the same.

Only if it's a beer truck.

I grew up not to far from Anaheim California, home of Disneyland. I often think of Disneyland when I read stuff about Klein. ....

Just like Disneyland we start out on "Main Street USA" and before to long we rush to "Fantasy Land" and visit "Mr Toad's Wild Ride". When our head stops spinning we venture into "Tomorrowland". I am always reminded that tomorrow never comes, at the best, it is just 1 minute or 1 second out of reach! Of course, no visit to Disneyland is complete without taking a trip to "Adventureland" and shooting a hippo in the mouth on the Amazon River and as you wander around, you just have to relax and sip a Mint Julep in "Frontierland". Of course for me, my favorite ride is "Thunder Mountain" with all the twists and turns and ups and downs of a great roller coaster ride and the fact it was designed with the real Thunder Mountain which I can see from my front yard!!

Those of you who have visited Disneyland in Anaheim know that Thunder Mountain is located right next to "Fantasyland". And just like Klein's posts, I always end up back in Fantasyland and findinf myself one more time, on "Mr. Toad's Wild Ride".
