You guys are missing the bigger picture. She is WEF and will destroy anythingCan't be ruled out. She worked for Home Depot which was once an active member of ALEC, a huge corporate lobbying "bill mill" that has spent lots of time, effort, and money pushing legislation weakening worker protections and ability to collectively bargain in nearly every state house from coast to coast.
With UPS still being one of the that group's biggest backers, it's very possible the company doesn't want to appear as if it's capitulating to the very type of negotiating other ALEC players are largely working to eliminate from ever being used in the first place.

Told my customers in 97 I didn't think we'd strike. Didn't lose a single account when we returned.Drivers have absolutely no business discussing anything with UPS's customers.
Not "my" customers.... People need to understand the distinction.
Since UPS has become a publicly traded stock they are up 165%. In the same time frame FedEx is up 2600%.Well, I don't own a lot. I certainly don't want to own FedEx stock!
The game of Chicken between the Evil Empire and the rag tag band of 340,000 rebels has officially begun…..This part I just don't understand, that is a little over 3 weeks and there won't be any negotiations at all. Just seems crazy to me.

So you are saying that UPS business model isn't as good as FedEx? You are agreeing with Tome there! She wants UPS cost the same like FedEx.Since UPS has become a publicly traded stock they are up 165%. In the same time frame FedEx is up 2600%.
Follow it to a tee. Break off only to make NDA service and business stops. I guarantee you within a day or two they’re begging you to stop. i was a 9.5 driver in package and was in the office daily for complete nonsense because they didn’t like the fact I stuck up for myself. One day I’m called in and Orion was the topic. Was threatened to be put on notice of discharge if I didn’t follow it. Said no problem. You’re shooting yourself in the foot and those 9.5 checks are going to be really juicy now. See ya at 9:30pm. I’m pulling out of the building and they come chasing after me. Don’t follow it, fine do it your way. People need to understand dealing with UPS management is like dealing with toddlers. Follow it. Play their game.I agree which is why UPS should never demand ORION be followed, but that's exactly what we were told was coming last week.
No, I'm saying the stock is dog shet and it was only offered to the rank and file as a leverage tool.So you are saying that UPS business model isn't as good as FedEx? You are agreeing with Tome there! She wants UPS cost the same like FedEx.
Cool your jets Junior we got a few more weeks
There won't be. It will be 15% raise for part-timers and 2% raise for RCPD. Not sure what to do about people fixing belts.
Sounds like what was probably offered, but I don’t think union officials will allow that to be voted onThere won't be. It will be 15% raise for part-timers and 2% raise for RCPD. Not sure what to do about people fixing belts.
OK. Throw in the turkey for RPCD only.Sounds like what was probably offered, but I don’t think union officials will allow that to be voted on
