Lewiston, Maine Mass Shooting

Oh yes you can. The paper work is just rubber stamped. The gun manufactures write the gun laws in this country. Probably all night gun stores in some parts of the country. To be honest maybe you do live in states that have stricter gun laws but where I live you just walk in, put your money down, fill out some paperwork, they pretend to check, and walk out with a gun you can open carry anywhere.

Can’t stand on an argument so we’ve gotta go back to middle school again.

I put my dork in your sister.
I don’t have a sister and you haven’t had an argument for about three pages, you’re just making up nonsense. But that’s OK. I think you’d like to pretend about a lot of things.

My understanding is that it was a AR10 chambered in .308. I know ballistic tips tend to fragment and I have ruined meat using them.
Exactly. It’s the projectile velocity, breaks up the round in the victim. The tissue damage from a higher powered rifle like this is beyond awful. These ARs don’t belong in civil society in the widespread way they are.

I’m for serious licensing or an outright ban. When the cops are so outgunned it’s time for something different.

See: Uvalde, TX.
Yeah, good example of the cowards you want to save you.

Throughout this thread, we’ve come to the realization that you don’t want “commonsense” you want a ban.

You refuse to answer the question why the statutes in Maine were not followed for what appears to be a clear-cut reason, and possibly even some common sense of taking this guys guns away for his mental state. Instead, you want a ban because you’re a coward. And along the way you make up ridiculous excuses as to why, refusing to answer my question.

They had AR rifles and were too scared because they still felt outgunned. Get these weapons out of civil society or at least make them hard as :censored2: to get. That’s here I stand. More of the same is :censored2:ING INSANE.

Please don't use my post as an example to spew anti-Constitutional garbage. If wackos can't access sporting rifles then they would just use something like tannerite and shrapnel to kill as many and potentially a whole lot more. The fact is if anyone in Maine did their job this wouldn't have happened.

Lol no, they didn’t feel outgunned for one they’re police and they’re not really there to save you there there to enforce policy and to pick up the pieces afterwards. A real hero with a gun, who was not encumbered by policy, came in and took care of business.

Ideas like yours get people killed you are the problem.

Never mind the fact that he said exactly to your point, and you’re talking about a different round of ammo then he’s been talking about the whole time he doesn’t even know what he’s talking about. Ignore him. He is a fool and propagandist with an agenda.

“Did their job”? Don’t you mean carry out unconstitutional orders?

I mean giving up on finding him and taking the families word that they would take control of his firearms. The yellow flag law should have been enforced

“Control”

“Firearms”

Sounds like gun control.

Nah, it’s better for everyone who goes out to the bowling alley to be armed with weapons designed originally for hunting humans.

You’ll forgive me if I think this is all bat:censored2: crazy. We can’t call ourselves a civilized society when any raving lunatic can go buy these rifles and go hunt our neighbors at anytime. These weapons are the weapon of choice for a reason.

Idgaf if you think we live in an uncivilized society. Move away if it bothers you
