Our biggest enemy wasn't PK. He has a horrible record and has financially hurt our local.

Hardly any barn in 952 said they liked PK.

PK got voted because of his BA's and shop stewards.

Almost 7000 members didn't even bother to vote.

That's almost 10 times the amount that voted for PK.

Apathy is the biggest ally that PK has, not his record.

EE said it was 56% to 37%.

A good victory for sure.

But to spend approx. 30 grand on an election when EE offered to split the delegates early on, seems like a waste of union resources.

Maybe decisions like these are why our local is so broke.

But I guess PK would rather spend $30K of the local's money than give away 3 delegate spots.

Election costs for the local is for mailing ballots and related expenses to count and verify ballots when a third party is used to run the election. It is not used by the locals members or officers to pay for campaigning.
