Wrong. I worked from 9:00 to 19:30 today. Took 30 min lunch. Got paid for 10 hours. If I didn’t take a lunch I’d get paid 10,5 hours. I don’t give them anything.

So you get no paid breaks?
I find that hard to believe.
If you were punched in for 10.5 hrs and didn't work for 1/2 hr, you would get 20 min paid break and 10 min unpaid here for a total of 10 hrs and 20 minutes paid.

I take my breaks, but time isn’t added for them. I only get paid for them when I’m sitting doing nothing.

Not your problem.
How they run the route they have does not affect how you run your route.
Say nothing.

They are cover drivers, not route owners. So every time they do certain routes, it raises the stop count for everyone, including the owner

wait....brainlet here. So let me get this straight: Any time we take a lunch, we don't get paid for it. Correct? So if we take an hour's lunch, and don't move or do anything but eat...we don't make any money. Now, in the Central State Region, we also get a paid a 10 minute break. So, if I wanted to punch in a 10-minute lunch and a 10-minute break, at the end of the day I am being paid to take a lunch. Total rest time would be 20 Minutes. Why would a driver want to take such a long lunch, if he would be losing money not getting paid?

In the North East, it's a mandatory 1 hour lunch between your 4th and 5th hour thanks to our supplemental. No options, no excuses.

Felt like bringing back this old thread since we’ve had problems in our center with this recently. Specifically, guys who would punch for lunch and then drive back to the building, or just not take them at all. Once the warning letters started flying, that put a stop to it. Still amazes me how willing some guys are to donate their own money back to the company.
